Guys, I know many of you are in the process of selecting your first niche. And I know how hard this is. There are hundreds if not thousands of options out there.
The truth is niche selection is a crucial step in your online journey.
If you pick the wrong niche, you're doomed. 💣
If you pick a good one, you will have a much higher chance of success. 💸
Here are five tips for selecting your first niche:
- Choose something you love. 💌
If you like dogs, go with pets. If you want hunting, go with it. You can't go wrong with a niche you enjoy. Even if you choose a super competitive and difficult niche, you might be able to stick with it if you enjoy it.
2. Think about a specific topic you know very well. 🧠
You work in a travel agency; then you can quickly write about traveling. If you're a barista, you can create a coffee blog. There is something you know well!
3. Check the competition. 💻
You don't want to choose a niche that is too competitive. Tech is an example of this. You might enjoy reading about smartphones, but this niche is already too competitive.
Just check this SEPR. If you can't find any niche websites with a low DR<30 in the top 10 results, forget about this niche.
Many people ask me about my preferred link building vendors, here are they:
👉 Auction Domain Links Vendor (7+ Years)
👉 No-Footprint PBN Links Vendor
4. Niche down but not too much. 🔽
The ideal case is to find a niche that is not too competitive but still offers many opportunities to grow. You don't want to be in paintball, for example, where you can write probably 10-20 articles, and the niche will be exhausted.
Look for a niche where you can write at least 100-200 blog posts.
That's it for now, folks. Happy niche selection!
